THE LISTINGS / LAST CHANCE: JENNIFER STILLWELL

By Ken Johnson

Recently shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award, Canada's version of England's Turner Prize, this Winnipeg-based sculptor makes savvy, scruffy installations from materials you could buy at Wal-Mart and Home Depot. The main attraction here consists of more than 40,000 paper towel squares that were torn off rolls and neatly stacked by 15 volunteers. A video documents the process of creation.
